Bruce Linn [Founder of Paranormal Investigations of Staten Island]

Bruce began his paranormal journey at the age of eleven years old with his first memorable experience with the unknown. In his room while preparing for bed he witnessed the blinds moving from the window sill to the top of the window in rapid succession. Even more startling to him was the watching the pull cord "pull" under its own power. scared as he was he still tried to debunk the experience, though at the time he was trying to rationalize in his own head what he saw, seeing the window shut tightly not allowing for a draft and that the only person capable of pulling the cord was eight feet away in a crib he couldn't explain the event, and still can't.

After that night Bruce became more interested in the unknown and paranormal and began reading whatever he could get his hands on (mind you no internet available to him at this time). His curiosity with the paranormal had pretty much isolated him from people throughout his school carreer until highschool when he met his longtime best friend and now PISI lead investigator David Carloni. Thier friendship ushered in a new found comradery in the exploration of the paranormal.

For many years after their friendship began they would sit and discuss the paranormal and the unknown often letting their imaginations wander freely. Bruce later discovered the Ghost Hunters television show and remarked on how cool it would be to do the same thing and maybe get some answers to their questions. A mission was born bruce spent three more years learning how to investigate, popular theories, hokie practices to avoid, and adopted some of the ghost hunters mentality on how an investigation should run.

In 2005 the Paranormal Investigations of Staten Island team was born. Originally just Bruce and Dave the team investigated their first historic location the Church of Saint Andrews in Richmondtown Staten Island. They were hooked from that moment on and Bruce would bring on a few others to fill in the gaps that were missing in the group.

Now four years later and multiple investigations under his belt, Bruce continues to live his double life as a life saving EMT during the day and a Ghost Hunter at night. Bruce is even authoring his own paranormal information website at www.your-paranormal-guide.com which he updates regularly and shares his knowledge and passion for the paranormal with like minded people all around the world. When asked if he would ever stop investigating his reply was "Never, I still haven't answered my questions to satisfaction yet and I suppose I never truely will but as long as I'm capable of it I will be out there seeking answers... seeking the truth".
